02 / Where they work

Three rooms, one pair of monitors.

Voiced in a 40 m² studio, at home in far less. A second input terminal engages an 80 Hz high-pass filter, so the same pair scales into a three-way system when you add a subwoofer.

03 / The cabinet

120 hours of printing, so the box adds nothing.

The walls are a 10 mm pyramidal PETG lattice, printed rather than cut. That geometry is what buys the stiffness — a solid panel of the same thickness cannot match it.

Internal printed bracing doubles as the mechanical mount for the Epique motor. At the back, a laser-cut 6 mm stainless plate carries the terminals and crossover, fastened with 18 screws.

04 / Transducers

A real subwoofer in a bookshelf box.

This is the design decision the rest of the speaker exists to support.
Low frequency

Epique 150 mm carbon-fibre subwoofer

Not a midbass driver — a true subwoofer with 14 mm of linear excursion, moving a volume of air that has no business coming out of this cabinet.

Two 180 mm Epique carbon-fibre passive radiators per speaker do the rest. Unlike a reflex port they behave as extra woofers at low frequencies, multiplying radiating area instead of adding port noise.

High frequency

Mundorf dipole AMT

The folded diaphragm gives nearly twice the radiating surface of a 1-inch dome, and firing bi-directionally puts up to four times more acoustic energy into the room. That is where the holographic imaging comes from.

It is suspended from the cabinet on a custom 3D-printed TPU elastomer connector, so enclosure vibration never reaches it.

Hand-assembled, chosen by listening.

Air-core inductors throughout, including a wax-impregnated Litz coil on the midrange. Mundorf and Jantzen parts selected for what they do, not for the name on the label.

One speaker, two systems.

The first terminal passes full range. The second engages a built-in 80 Hz high-pass filter that gently rolls off the deepest bass — hand the bottom octave to a subwoofer and the Vipers become a three-way system, without an external crossover box.

Are the Vipers wrong for you?

At 83 dB and 4 Ω, a compact cabinet moving this much air needs current and control. We would rather tell you now than after it arrives.
